Free Crochet Pattern Easy Elegant Boot Cuffs

I have posted a brand new free crochet pattern on my "free patterns" page! It's a pattern for an easy set of boot cuffs that can be made today and worn tonight. My two girls put their two cents in regarding design details and functionality, and we think they work well. You can let just the ribbing peek out, or the ribbing and part of the designed stitch pattern. Two looks in one. :-)

Don't forget to check the free pattern page often, to see any new patterns that have been added. Enjoy!!

I love these. Just one thing, why would you hide the beautiful design inside the boot? That's the best part. I would totally turn them around so the design is what is showing.

Thanks for your pattern. I am making them for my daughter to match a sweater I just finished.

Thanx so much for this

Thanx so much for this pattern. Well written for a "beginner". Easy to follow! Making several pairs for Christmas gifts!

How do you know the best

How do you know the best fitting for different individuals? I did the first 30 and put it to my leg (guessing for the person it's for) and it doesn't wrap around my calf?

Cuff size - gauge

Did anyone get an answer to the size of the cuff? Is it for an adult or teen?

I think its adult size, guys,

I think its adult size, guys, but for women with tiny legs(of which i or my christmas giftees...ers?...ees?) Do not have. Im gonna try to see if i can adjust it to my fat leg.lol. if i figure an easy way to adjust the size, i'll post it here, cuz this even though id be the one adjusting it, its still a poshpattern :-)

Adding width

As long as you add 2 rows at a time, you can take the base ribbed part up to 32, 34, 36 etc, rows, and then you will just add the extra *2dc in next st, sk 1 st; in rounds 32-35, so if you did 32 rows in the ribbing, then you would have 16 dc groups, if you did 34, then you would have 17 dc groups, etc....hope this helps!!

I really like these theyvwork

So cute!

For rows 33-35 should the vstitches be made in the space of the v below or are they supposed to be off set?

Elegant Boot cuffs pattern re: rows 33-35

Hi, I love this pattern so far, thankyou for sharing it! I too am wondering if the vstitches are all in a line OR offset?
I am assuming that by the end of row 35, I am still only to have 15 dc groups? Thanks kindly, Vicki
